 Melneldor, an Elven Warden

  Born to Sindar parents who never crossed the Sea, never saw the Light save in the faces of their King and Queen, and were content to live and die in Middle Earth, taking each change as they came, Melneldor learned to love what life gave and defend those who couldn't protect themselves.

  For as long as he can remember, he has always watched the borders of the forests elves have claimed, eyes keen under the eaves. That is how he met her mate, too; Elorniel caught his eye as she approached the mellyrn of Lórien, a pale flame under the stars...

Melneldor knows the value of well-crafted armour, a sign of which is  how easy it is on the eyes.
